Kari Kwinn, E-RYT500, RPYT, YACEP, believes that great teachers are humble, honest, grateful, and good with names. She believes that there is more than one right way to do everything, that our bodies do what we teach them to do, and that yoga is more than the poses. In addition to trainings and lived experience, she values integration and thoughtful, creative classes delivered with both wit and humor. So that's she how teaches. Kari's background includes advanced training in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Sivananda, Prenatal, and Yin yoga, and her practice predates the invention of "yoga pants." In her spare time, she collects and recounts stories, marvels at the oddities of human relationship, and asks good questions. She teaches yoga teachers about Yin and everyone about boundaries.

Parker Horsch is a Denver based multi-instrumentalist. His passion for music and his curiosity of cultural tradition has helped him blend modern and traditional rhythms and melodies to develop his own unique style.
At the age of five, Parker began taking piano lessons; quickly migrating to percussion and eventually drumline. At the age of 18, Parker’s musical influences broadened drastically and he became much more interested in hand percussion instruments from around the globe.
Parker began performing with different groups such as the African Drum Ensemble in college, and an Indian influenced fusion group called “White Horse”. In 2016, Parker backpacked through central Europe with his friends to pick up his first handpan.
Parker has found his niche in the yoga community, using the handpan for sound healing and restorative yoga. He also performs outside of the yoga community, bringing forth a refreshing, groovy, percussive, and melodic blend of musical influences.
In 2017 and 2019, Parker was featured on the collaborative handpan albums, Inward Journey and Passages by Healing Handpan Alliance. The proceeds from the albums were donated to health/wellness charities.

Born and raised on the beaches of Long Island, New York, the foundation of the now Arizona-based songwriter's music derives from the surf scene of his formative years on the East Coast. Shortly after picking up the guitar in high school on a bet from a friend, Rob discovered the acoustically driven melodies and socially conscious lyrics of artists like Jack Johnson, John Butler Trio , Xavier Rudd and Ben Harper. These musicians, along with classic troubadours from his father's record collection like James Taylor, would serve as the initial inspiration for writing his own songs.
Following a long post-college musical hiatus, Rob moved from New York City to Arizona and, encouraged by his wife, started to take songwriting seriously for the first time. After a year of experimenting with a variety of genres and discovering his voice, he developed his own blend of folk, rock and reggae infused with a heavy serving of conscious lyrics.
With a newfound focus and a fresh batch of songs, Rob recorded his debut full-length album in 2017, The Calm Within, a collection of tunes heavily inspired by his yoga and meditation practice. Since his 2017 debut, Rob has released three full-length albums, including this year’s newest album, “The Fire In Me.”
Sandi Siegel has been practicing and studying yoga for 20 years. As an ardent student of Sanskrit and Rajanaka Yoga, she is devoted to studying yoga philosophy and mythology which enriches her offerings of kirtan and chant. Both her chanting albums (“Dancing Home” released in 2015 and current studio endeavor) and her modern music (Dizzying Rain released July 2018) are deeply informed by the depth of meaning and poetry in her studies and translations of many Sanskrit texts. Playing guitar and piano since childhood and now the harmonium, she loves sharing the joy of community voice. As a former studio owner and Anusara Affiliated teacher she weaves threads of her Bhakta/Shakta lineage into other practices and in teacher trainings, inviting participants to their individual experience of greatness supported and enlivened by connection to their communities through the gift of shared voice. A mother of 3, she is thrilled to be surrounded by so much beauty in Colorado and the creatives present in both her musical and modeling life in and around Denver.

YogaSlackers Sam Salwei and Raquel Hernández are lovers of movement. Limitations are a foreign concept to this teaching duo, as they spend their time traveling the world and fulfilling their dreams of being true modern-day nomads. Whether it's driving coast-to-coast, or hopping on an airplane to travel overseas, the motivation is usually the same: bringing their passion for teaching to students all over the world.
What they lack in square footage for living space, they make up for with the wealth of expertise and knowledge they bring with them. Sam Salwei co-founded the YogaSlackers in 2005, and his passion for Slacklining has only grown since then. He typically can be found awing crowds with his spectacles at every opportunity. Raquel perfectly complements Sam with her extensive training in Yoga, AcroYoga, Slacklining, and Healing Arts.
What makes this couple truly exceptional is their joint ability to spark in their students the same passion that they share for movement. Together, they create a playful, supportive, disciplined, and energetic environment in which learning comes naturally, and show their students that there is no limit to what they can achieve with a positive attitude and dedication. In fact, after taking enough of Sam and Raquel's classes, "I can't" may become as foreign of a concept to you as it is for the YogaSlackers!
